The advantages and
opportunities that the virtual universe offers are clear. The interactive
aspect that the web provides generates a horizon that seems limitless. In
addition, for our young people it is especially accessible for multiple
alternatives related to games, music, videos and possibilities of interaction
with friends.
However, these
benefits are often accompanied by certain risks. Therefore, in this scenario, prevention
and the right practice is essential.
8th and 9th
grade students received an interesting conference regarding the “responsible
use of social networks." With it, we intend to strengthen their capacity
to analyze, discern and anticipate the consequences of the choices they make
when they use their favorite social network and online surfing whatever the
purpose; thus limiting their exposure to potential hazards.
